Château Lalande, AOP Saint-Julien

A classic left-bank Bordeaux blend of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Franc, grown between the prestigious estates of Talbot and Lagrange. It opens with aromas of cassis, crushed blackberry, and eucalyptus, layered with hints of pencil lead and tea chest from the Cabernet. On the palate, it’s powerful and structured, showcasing intense black fruit, fine-grained tannins, and a traditional claret maturity. Aged in French oak (35% new), it finishes with savory depth and a touch of cedar and spice.
