Elderton Estate Chardonnay 75cl

The 2024 vintage bursts with vibrant lemon citrus, juicy grapefruit, and white peach, harmonizing with a lively, elegant acid backbone. A velvety crème brûlée texture balances the fruit, while subtle French oak adds a rich, toasty depth, creating a beautifully balanced and complex wine.
Our Eden Valley vineyard, located south of Craneford at 420m elevation, offers a cooler, wetter climate with minerally soils, in contrast to the Barossa Valley floor. The Chardonnay block sits at one of the highest points, tended by expert viticulturists Peter Wild and Conrad Pohlinger. Our neighbor, Paul Hampton, oversees a promising Chardonnay block recently returned to its own roots, with plans to continue working with it for years to come.
