Evans & Tate was founded in 1971 when John Evans and John Tate planted vines in the Swan Valley. In 1974, they established the Redbrook vineyard in Wilyabrup, Margaret River. The first Margaret River Classic was released in 1987 and remains the region’s top-selling wine.
