Gusbourne Blanc de Blancs 75cl

This pale gold sparkling wine boasts a fine, persistent mousse and a nose bursting with citrus notes of ripe lemon, orange peel, and green apple, complemented by Williams pear. On the palate, it offers a harmonious blend of citrus and orchard fruits, with white peach and a touch of toasted nuts, brioche, and lemon meringue pie. The elegant mouthfeel is fresh and linear, culminating in a zesty, mineral finish that lingers.
Gusbourne was founded in 2004 with a vision to create exceptional vintage wines using grapes exclusively from its own vineyards. The estate, with 60 hectares in Appledore, Kent, and 30 hectares near the Goodwood Estate in West Sussex, grows high-quality Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. These Burgundian clones yield intensely flavorful fruit in unique microclimates, which are crafted into award-winning sparkling wines using the traditional method. Gusbourne's debut vintages, Brut Reserve 2006 and Blanc de Blancs 2006, earned critical acclaim upon release in 2010.
