Monterustico, Piedmont Rosso

a rustic yet vibrant red blend from Piedmont, Italy, crafted by the Vajra family with a focus on native grapes and organic farming. It opens with aromas of cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, layered with hints of cedar, damp earth, and dried thyme. On the palate, it’s smooth and dry, showing flavours of red fruit, brambly berries, and subtle spice, supported by soft tannins and refreshing acidity.
The blend typically includes Barbera, Dolcetto, and Nebbiolo, giving it both brightness and depth.
