Principi di Butera Nero d’Avola “Amìra” is a refined and expressive Sicilian red that captures the essence of Nero d’Avola from limestone-clay soils in Butera. It opens with intense aromas of cherry, blueberry, and violet, followed by hints of myrtle, balsamic lift, and delicate spice.
On the palate, it’s dry and elegant, with a fine structure and persistent finish. The floral and balsamic notes from the nose carry through seamlessly, and a subtle touch of almond adds depth to the aftertaste. Aged in large Slavonian oak barrels for a year, it gains texture without overpowering the fruit.
