Vallet Frères Pernand-Vergelesses, AOP Pernand-Vergelesses 2022

a beautifully layered white Burgundy that punches well above its appellation. It opens with aromas of fresh pear, baked apple, and caramel, wrapped in subtle toasty oak. The palate is rich and smooth, offering flavours of custard, hazelnuts, and honey, all lifted by a bright lemony acidity and a gentle, chalky minerality.
